John Vogler, Camp Director • Vogler, former principal at Liberty Middle School in West Orange, oversees the administrative side of the WoS summer camps.
Andy Beutel, Lead Teacher • Beutel, a middle school teacher in the Mahwah, N.J., School District, is lead teacher for two summer camps and the after-school program at the Boys & Girls Club Newark.

Kathleen Kilgore, Grant Writer • Kilgore, owner of Kilgore Development Co., oversees WoS’ grant proposal writing
Joni Bronander, Event Planner • Bronander, owner of Events by Joni, oversees WoS special events such as the annual gala.
Tanya Mitchell, Accountant • Mitchell, a CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer of the Newark Alliance. She oversees WoS financial management, reporting and controls.
Shannon Schmitt, Marketing Director • Schmitt, formerly on Whoopi Goldberg’s production staff, oversees WoS social media and public relations.
Teacher Camille Brown helps students work on creating their blogs at the Write on Sports camp at Newark's St. Peter's Academy this past summer. They'll work on deadline and add to the blogs after each guest's appearance.
